Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) has digitalized parts of its marine and pilotage services.
According to MPL, users can request pilotage services, submit ETAs and make payments via the newly launched 'Marine Module' of the Bandharu Portal. These services will be available online only, effective from Sunday, MPL said.
MPL has conducted information sessions for shipping agents to familiarize them with the new system. The program was carried out jointly by the office's Marine Service Department and IT Department.
