The fund box placed at state-run Indira Memorial Hospital to collect donations for the 'Health Trust Fund' was stolen on Friday.
The hospital said they noticed the theft at around 10 am on Friday and reported it to the police. The amount of money in the fund box is unclear.
The police confirmed that they received reports of the theft and said an investigation is underway. No arrests have been made thus far, and the police did not provide any information on how the robbers pulled off the heist.
