Planning Minister Mohamed Aslam has said the administration carries out development projects as per the peoples' wishes. The minister made the statement while speaking at a ceremony held in N. Landhoo to inaugurate the island's harbor.
In his remarks, the minister said the administration simultaneously carries out multiple development projects across the Maldives. He said the administration identifies the peoples' needs and areas for which the people require solutions and provide solutions to the issues through the development projects.
Aslam said the current administration keenly listens to the people's voice and that all infrastructural projects carried out by the administration are adjusted to meet the peoples' wishes and needs. The newly inaugurated Landhoo harbor attests to his statement, he said.
Noting that the first harbor was constructed in the Maldives in 1986, Minister Aslam said the first harbor was constructed in HDh. Kulhudhuffushi. The development brought economic prosperity through tourism and positive lifestyle changes, he said.
