ADK Hospital in capital Male' will no longer be allowing visitors for patients admitted at the hospital.
The hospital Friday said the hospital is taking several measures to ensure the safety of its healthcare workers amid a surge in COVID-19 cases in the Maldives. In this regard, visitors will not be allowed effective Saturday, and only one bystander can stay at the hospital with each admitted patients, the announcement read.
The hospital urged the public not to visit the hospital unless absolutely necessary and advised to wear masks at all times and frequently wash hands.
