A 50-year-old accident victim remains in critical condition after being struck by a motorcycle driven by an unlicensed individual.
Ali Hafiz, a respected lecturer at MNU, was hit by a speeding motorcycle during the early hours of Tuesday near the Majeedhee Magu Redwave shop. While he sustained serious injuries in the accident, he is currently receiving intensive care at the ADK Hospital. According to a close family member, Hafiz's condition shows no signs of improvement.
Police said a local 22-year-old man was driving the motorcycle involved in the accident. However, no arrests have been made in connection with the case.
