Mathiveri MP Hassan Zareer was attacked early Monday.
MP Zareer was attacked with a sharp object while he was sitting inside Habeebee Cafe' and Bistro in Male City. The police received reports of the attack at 5:08 am.
Zareer is currently being treated for his injuries at ADK Hospital. However, no information is available about his condition.
Police have not yet commented on the incident except to say they are investigating the case.
