Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has provided an update on L. Fonadhoo road development project.
The phase II of the construction and development of L. Fonadhoo roads was contracted to MTCC in January 2021, to be completed within 390 days. The project valued at MVR 53.99 million consists of the construction of 3.64-kilometer asphalt roads, a stormwater management system, and the installation of streetlights.
MTCC commenced laying the stormwater drain pipes last December. According to the latest progress update by MTCC, the project is well underway, with the installation of a stormwater management system currently ongoing.
