Maldives Immigration is seeking to locate 45 immigration offenders.
Immigration published an announcement with pictures of the offenders. The authority said the foreigners pictured were immigration offenders and said they are required to attend the Expatriate Monitoring and Repatriation Division of Maldives Immigration within seven days of the announcement.
The list included details of 35 Bangladeshi nationals, three Indians, and two Nigerians. The list also included Ethiopian, Sri Lankan, British, Filipino, and Thai nationals.
Most offenders are between the ages of 24 and 35.
Maldives Police Service has said many foreigners are active in the criminal environment. They are primarily involved in alcohol trade, the sale of foreign currency on the black market, and prostitution.
