President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Monday officially inaugurated the Meedhoo harbour in southernmost Addu City.
The President inaugurated the harbour at a special ceremony held at the harbour area. Addu MPs, council members, and island residents attended the ceremony.

It also included the construction of pavements and light installation along the harbour area.
The President also toured the project site for the Hulhudhoo harbour, a project which is also carried out by MTCC. The project's scope includes harbour dredging, construction of a 114-meter breakwater, 624-meter revetment, and 742-meter quay wall.
