The Pakistani national who went on the run after killing his Bangladeshi colleague has been located and apprehended.
Maldives Police Service began hunting for 26-year-old Mohamed Abid on Saturday after he attacked a waiter at Khanji Restaurant in Hulhumale, where he worked as a chef. The victim was stabbed with a large knife multiple times, resulting in his death. The suspect fled the scene after attacking the victim.
The police publicized his picture and classified him as a 'dangerous person'. They warned the public not to engage with the public if sighted and instead alert the police to his whereabouts.
