A Maldivian pilgrim in Saudi Arabia for the Umrah pilgrimage has passed away.
The 71-year-old man from R. Meedhoo traveled to Saudi Arabia with Zam Zam Hajj and the Umra group. He passed away in the early hours of Saturday while receiving treatment at King Faisal Hospital. The group did not disclose the nature of his illness.
Earlier this week, another Maldivian pilgrim, 76-year-old Aboobakuru Hassan from B. Eydafushi, also passed away in Saudi Arabia.
