The management of the Family Court has been temporarily handed over to Judge Al-Ustaz Ibrahim Mahir.
The post of Chief Judge of the Family Court became vacant following the appointment of Huzaifa Mohamed as a High Court judge on Tuesday.
Huzaifa took over as the Chief Judge of the Family Court after several days without a Chief Judge and held the post for 88 days.
Judge Mahir, who temporarily took over the management of the Family Court following the vacancy again, is the longest-serving judge in the court.
