A woman was found brutally murdered in a home in Male' City in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Maldives Police Service said a woman was found murdered in the Henveiru home, Sheereen Villa. The police said they are active at the scene of crime, and confirmed that a local male had been arrested from the scene.
Some reports said the woman was decapitated by the man, who is believed to be her husband. However, the police did not confirm the reports. Sources say the homicide occurred after a domestic dispute between the couple.
