Miuvaan appointed as PO's new Spokesperson

Former journalist Miuvan Mohamed has been appointed as the Spokesperson of the President's Office.

Miuvan was appointed to the post following the resignation of his predecessor, Mohamed Mabrook Azeez.

The President Offices' Chief Communications Strategist Mohamed Hisan Ali (Hisko), who heads the communications department of the President's Office, said Miuwan was appointed as the Spokesperson on Wednesday. AVAS has learned that Miuvan was appointed to the post at the level of deputy ministers.

Miuvan has been the Communications Director of the Foreign Ministry since President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih took office. He has previously worked for some of the country’s most renowned media outlets before being appointed to a political post. He has worked for DhiFM 95.2 Radio, Raajje TV, and Sangu TV.
