The Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) on Thursday announced the appointment of Yoosuf Siraj of Hazaarumaage, Ha. Dhidhdhoo, as the Managing Director of the Waste Management Corporation Limited (WAMCO).
Siraj was the corporation's Deputy Managing Director prior to his appointment as the Managing Director. An MD has been appointed to WAMCO over five months after the post became vacant.
WAMCO's MD post became vacant after its former MD, Adam Mohamed, was dismissed from the post. He was later appointed as the Managing Director of Maldives Ports Limited.
