The practical work on Gdh. Rathafandhoo Beach Protection Project has commenced.
Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) began work on the project on Saturday. The state-owned company said bed preparation work is currently underway.
The scope of the project includes the construction of a 461m revetment, a 240m breakwater, and beach filling operations of 6600 cbm. The value of the project is MVR 27.8 million.
