Vice President Faisal Naseem on Saturday morning departed on an official trip to the Raa Atoll.
During the visit, the Vice President will travel to Inguraidhoo Island, Innamaadhoo Island, Maakurathu Island, Dhuvaafaru Island, and Vandhoo Island in the atoll, where he will meet with members of island councils and Women's Development Committees (WDC). He will also visit Ungoofaaru Regional Hospital and other healthcare facilities in these islands and inquire about the services provided there.
The Vice President will attend the 'Raa. Tourism Expo 2022' award ceremony to be held in Dhuvaafaru Island in Raa Atoll.
Vice President Faisal Naseem will conclude the trip and return to Malé on Sunday.
