A 900-square-nautical-mile area has been searched for man missing at sea after a landing craft capsized on Saturday.
The landing craft, 'Leo Six' capsized 14 nautical miles off GDh. Faresmathoda. While three crewmen aboard the vessel were rescued by a passing vessel, 'Seaweed', one more crewman is unaccounted for. The police said the missing man is a Bangladeshi national.
The MNDF's Southern Area Coast Guard -- Fourth Squadron said an area of 900 nautical miles had been searched for the missing man, including aerial searches using MNDF's Donier aircraft. As Sunday's search efforts had not been fruitful, the search will be continued on Monday, MNDF said.
