British billionaire Richard Branson's Virgin Atlantic is launching flights to the Maldives.
The flights will be operated between Heathrow Airport to Velana International Airport (VIA). The direct flights will start on November 30 and will be operated three days a week. The flights will be operated by Virgin Atlantic Airways'Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
Virgin Atlantic's flight tickets to the Maldives are scheduled to go on sale tomorrow.
Direct flights are already operated between the UK and the Maldives via British Airways.
