British Airways has decided to increase the number of flights to the Maldives and extend operation to include summer flights.
British Airways currently operates only one flight a week to the Maldives in the winter season.
British Airways has now decided to continue flying to the Maldives even in the summer, operating three scheduled flights a week to the Maldives from April. However, the exact schedule of the flights has yet to be announced.
British Airways first launched flights to the Maldives in 2015. The airline suspended flights to the Maldives in 2020 due to COVID-19 border closures and resumed flights to the tourism-dependent archipelago in September this year.
