High Court Judge Mohamed Faisal has been appointed to the Judges' Appeal Chamber.
The JSC Act stipulates that the Judicial Service Commission (JSC)'s decisions regarding judges cannot be taken to court. Instead of taking such matters to court, such cases should be referred to the Judges Appeal Chamber constituted under the JSC Act. However, where the JSC decides to remove a judge from office, such cases cannot be submitted to this Chamber.
The Judges' Appeal Chamber consists of a High Court judge, a Supreme Court judge, and a judge from the Superior Courts.
