A young man who was stabbed in Male' City on Friday night has passed away.
The 30-year-old man was stabbed inside "Krasa" shop in Maafannu ward. He passed away on Monday morning while being treated on ventilator support at the IGMH. According to the hospital, he was pronounced dead at 6:45 am.
The Commissioner of Police, Mohamed Hameed had earlier said that one person involved in the attack had been arrested under a court order. The police today said the suspect had been remanded in custody for 15 days.
The CP said the attack was part of an ongoing clash between gangs in the city.
