An announcement has been made seeking local specialist doctors for Addu City's Equatorial Hospital.
According to an announcement made by the hospital, the hospital is seeking to hire 29 local doctors in order to reduce the number of foreign employees and give priority to local staff.
The posts open for application are Associate Specialist / Consultant in Internal Medicine, Emergency Physician, Anaesthesiology, Surgery, E.N.T., Paediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Psychiatry, Orthopedics, Radiology, Dermatology, Pathology, Urology, Ophthalmology, Orthodontics specialists. These positions are permanent positions, the announcement said.
The salary for doctors will be between MVR 25,000 and MVR 55,000. In addition, a service allowance of more than MVR 12,000 will be paid.
Applications are open until 1:00 pm on March 6. Applications and supporting documents can be emailed to the hospital.
