A man has been killed in a fatal accident in Hulhumale' Phase II.
The accident occurred at 9:45 am today near the flats built for MPL employees in Phase II. The accident occurred when a pickup collided with a motorcycle. The man died while being treated in the hospital for his injuries.
The deceased was identified as Abdullah Rasheed, 59, an employee of Urbanco.
Further investigations into the accident are underway.
Meanwhile, an accident occurred in Hulhumale' earlier on Monday, leaving one critically injured. According to the police, the accident occurred at around 01:20 am when two motorcycles collided with each other. A 19-year-old and a 56-year-old were injured in the incident, with the older man suffering significant injuries.
