Malaysia's Batik Airlines is set to launch flights to the Maldives.
Batik Airlines has decided to start flights from Malaysia to Maldives on May 1. The Boeing 737 flights will include direct flights from Malaysia to the Maldives and transit flights to Malaysia, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives.
According to Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL), 36 airlines currently operate scheduled flights to the Maldives. Some airlines also operate charter flights to the Maldives.
