A man is being treated on ventilator support at state-run IGMH after being injured in an accident near the Sinamale' Bridge traffic light late Sunday night.
The accident occurred at 11:30 pm when a motorcycle was hit by another motorcycle. A 43-year-old man is being treated at IGMH's ICU and is in critical condition. A 31-year-old man and a 47-year-old man were also injured in the accident and were treated at Senahiya Hospital.
IGMH did not disclose any information about the patient in ICU.
Accidents are frequent in Male' City during Ramadan. Additional police have been deployed to reduce accidents in the bridge area and the Hulhulhe' Highway during the period.
