A man has fallen from the fifth floor of a building in Male' City.
The man is currently receiving medical attention at the state-run Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH). An IGMH official said the extent of his injuries will be determined following examination by doctors.
Some newspapers reported that the man fell while attempting to flee after a robbery.
Falls from buildings occur occasionally. Recently, a man fell from the ninth floor of a building in the city on the 13th of this month. The man died while being treated at the hospital.
