MNP appoints campaign manager, spokesperson for presidential candidate

The Maldives National Party (MNP) has announced the appointment of a campaign manager and spokesperson for its presidential candidate, party President Mohamed Nazim.

Former Deputy Commissioner of Police and a close associate of Nazim, Mohamed 'FA' Fayaz, was appointed as his campaign manager for the September election. MNP Vice President and Villimale MP Ahmed Usham was appointed as the Spokesperson.

Nazim secured the party's presidential ticket without undergoing a primary, as he was the sole applicant for the party's presidential candidacy. The MNP officially handed over its ticket to Nazim last Friday, marking the launch of his campaign. The campaign slogan and song were also unveiled at the event.
