Two tourism development zones have been officially inaugurated in southernmost Addu City.
The tourism zones were inaugurated by Foreign Minister Abdullah Shahid, Indian Ambassador to the Maldives Shri Munu Mahawar, and Addu City Mayor Ali Nizar at a ceremony held Sunday.
Five areas will be developed as tourism zones in Addu. These include Hithadhoo Maamen Beach Tourism Zone, Koagannu Beach Mulimathi Tourism Zone, Hulhudhoo Keyvah Beach Maafishi Tourism Zone, and Feydhoo Savaa Beach Dhigihera Tourism Zone.
