Oman Air to begin operation to the Maldives

Oman Air is making final preparations to commence flights to the Maldives.

Operation is set to begin on June 24 to coincide with this year's winter season. The flights linking Oman's capital, Muscat, to Velana International Airport in the Maldives will be operated four days a week.

The ticket price for flights between Oman and the Maldives has been set at US$385.

Oman Air previously operated flights to the Maldives in 2016,2018, and later in 2019. However, these flights were not sustainable for various reasons.

According to the Maldives Airports Company (MACL), 35 airlines currently operate flights to the Maldives.
