President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has shorted his campaign tour to Alif Alif Atoll.
President Solih, who is seeking re-election, visited AA. Thoddoo, Rasdhoo, Bodufulhadhoo, Mathiveri, Maalhos, Feridhoo, and Ukulhas on Wednesday. While his original itinerary included a visit to the Alif Dhaalu atoll today, the President is now returning to the capital, Male', due to reported illness, as confirmed by sources from AVAS.
The President has so far visited all the islands of Haa Alif, Shaviyani, Noonu, Vaavu, Meemu, and Dhaalu Atoll as part of his campaign. He has also visited Gaafu Alifu, Gaafu Dhaalu, and Gnaviyani Atoll.
