Former Attorney General Dr. Mohamed Munawwar has announced his support for the PPM-PNC presidential candidate, Dr. Mohamed Muizzu in the upcoming presidential election.
Speaking to AVAS on Sunday, a PPM official shared that Dr. Munawwar would be joining Dr. Muizzu on his campaign tour to Addu Atoll the following day.
Dr. Munawwar, a prominent figure from the well-regarded Meedhoo family in Addu City, had initially expressed an interest in contesting the upcoming presidential election as an independent candidate. However, he later decided against pursuing the aspiration.
