Dr. Muizzu describes Pres Solih's campaign as "cowardly"

The PPM-PNC presidential candidate, Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, has described President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih's presidential campaign as "cowardly".

The focal point of criticism by Muizzu's rivals has been his alleged intentions to halt ongoing government projects upon assuming power. It has also been said that he would terminate MDP members currently employed within government offices and state-owned entities if he is elected.

Muizzu has been seen as unresponsive to such criticism during the presidential election campaign. However, he visited Alifushi today and responded to the criticisms by MDP campaign teams.

In his response, Muizzu vehemently dismissed the accusations and characterized the spreading of unfounded rumors about him as an uncivilized act of cowardice. He firmly assured that he would not impede any ongoing development projects in Alifushi and pledged to expedite and enhance the progress of these projects.

Muizzu said if he gets power, he will dredge more land in Alifushi and establish a good quality hospital and bank branch. He said he would expand local tourism in Alifushi and provide various facilities for the youth. He expressed his hope for securing a majority of votes from Alifushi.
