The presidential candidate representing PPM/PNC, Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, has encouraged voters to cast their ballots early during today's election.
Speaking to reporters after casting his own vote at Thaajuddin School this morning, Muizzu urged citizens to promptly fulfill their civic obligations by voting.
"It is a legal obligation to exercise one's right to vote for their preferred candidate," he said.
Hussain Mohamed Latheef, the PPM-PNC presidential candidate's running mate, has also voted.
Voting will take place from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm today.
