The PPM-PNC presidential candidate, Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, has pledged to enhance the execution of ongoing development projects in the atolls.
Speaking at a campaign event at AA. Bodufolhadhoo on Thursday, Dr. Muizzu emphasized his dedication to improving these projects and ensuring that they meet the needs of the people.
Sharing his pledges for Bodufolhadhoo, Dr. Muizzu assured that he would not discriminate against any island in implementing development projects.
"We will ensure that all development-related projects are carried out in Bodufolhadhoo as well, in line with our policy of treating all islands equally," Muizzu said.
Dr. Muizzu said he would provide opportunities for small and medium-sized businesses to invest in tourism for the expanded land in Bodufolhadhoo. Additionally, he pledged to establish sports facilities, expand the island's harbor, and increase the number of classrooms in the local school.
