ACC receives 97 complaints regarding Presidential Election

A total of 97 complaints were filed with the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) in connection with the presidential election, of which 52 are being registered and investigated, the commission has said.

The ACC said the 97 complaints received included 61 anonymous submissions, 27 from private individuals, five from the Election Commission's National Complaints Bureau, three from political parties, and one from government agencies. The ACC noted that among these 97 cases, some were duplicates, with multiple complaints about the same issues being filed repeatedly.

The registered cases included 36 cases of election bribery, 11 cases of influence, and five cases of misuse of state property and resources.
