President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has nominated Maryam Midhfa Naeem as the Maldivian Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates and Shiuneen Rasheed as the Ambassador to Bangladesh.
The nominations have been forwarded to the Parliament for consideration and were referred to the Parliament's Foreign Relations Committee for evaluation during Tuesday's Parliament sitting.
Aminath Shabeena is the current Ambassador of Maldives to the United Arab Emirates, while Shirzimat Sameer currently serves as the Maldivian Ambassador to Bangladesh.
