An explosion occurred at Kulhudhuffushi Airport on Thursday, leaving several individuals injured.
According to police, the incident occurred during the refilling of a training cylinder at the airport. While reports of the incident were received at 11:45 p.m., police and MNDF fire and rescue teams swiftly arrived at the scene.
Four people sustained various injuries in the incident. Among them, a 37-year-old man is in critical condition, while a woman and two other men also suffered injuries. The injured are being treated at the Khedhufushi Regional Hospital. No further information is available on the condition of these individuals.
