Urbanco has announced it will reschedule the opening date for submitting applications to purchase the remaining Vinares flats after encountering technical issues when the online portal was launched for application submissions on Sunday.
The Vinares project comprises a total of 1,344 flats from Hulhumale Phase II, with agreements already signed for 288 of them and efforts ongoing efforts to finalize agreements with other recipients. While 123 units remained unsold, Urbanco on Sunday opened applications to purchase the remaining units.
However, the online portal faced technical glitches that resulted in numerous complaints received by Urbanco. In response to the complaints, Urbanco has decided to postpone the application submission process through the online portal temporarily. According to Urbanco, the process will be resumed once the issues are fully resolved.
