President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has appointed Uz Ahmed Nashath as the legal field member of the Privatization and Corporatization Board. He made the appointment exercising the authority granted to him by the Privatization, Corporatization, Monitoring, and Evaluation of Government Businesses Act.
Uz Nashath holds a Master of Laws in International Law from Middlesex University, UK. He previously held the position of State Counsel at the Attorney General’s Office before assuming this new role.
President Muizzu had earlier made other appointments to the Privatization Board from various fields. Hamdhee Ageel was appointed as the Chairman of the Privatization Board.
