Nurain Janah appointed as MMPRC's Chairperson

Aisha Noorain Janah has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC), the country's largest tourism promotion company.

Noorain is the eldest daughter of Mohamed Ali Janah, the Principal Advisor to the President on Trade and Investment.

Noorain, who has spent many years in New Zealand, is a chartered accountant. She has 10 years of management experience under her belt and is also the Vice Chair of Janah’s Hotels and Resort Investment Group.

The government has revealed its plans to rebrand the MMPRC. The government has appointed Fathimath Thaufeeq as the Managing Director of the MMPRC.
