The second phase of the Thilafushi land reclamation has been successfully completed.
The land and shore protection of areas A, B, E, and F of the second phase of the Thilafushi development is a joint venture between Housing Development Corporation (HDC) and China Harbor Engineering Company Limited. The second phase of the project began in March last year.
HDC Monday said that the second phase of dredging of areas A, B, E, and F has been completed. While a total of 120 hectares had been reclaimed in the second phase, leveling of the reclaimed area of Area E was now underway, as per HDC.
HDC emphasized its commitment to ensuring the timely completion of development projects and said the company aims for the benefits to be delivered to the people at the earliest.
