Land allocated for fiber workers from Thilafushi

An area of 30,000 square feet has been allocated from the industrial island Thilafushi for fiber workers of Villimale'. The allocation of land to Villimale's fiber workers fulfills a presidential pledge made by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.

Previously, fiber work in Villimale' was conducted in the southwest area of the island. However, due to the construction of the Thilamale' Bridge, the fiber workers were temporarily relocated to land in the WAMCO area of Villimale'. Their new work area has been allocated from Area E of Thilafushi.

Land has been allocated to fiber workers in Villimale' while many fiber workers have been voicing concern over delays in fulfilling the president's pledge.
