President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has hinted at the possibility of relocating some land plots allocated from Giraavalhufalhu to Gulheefalhu, according to the latest installment of "The President's Answer" series.
During President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih's administration, land plots were allocated to Male' residents from various areas, including Hulhumale' Phase II and III, Gulheefalhu, and Giraavalhufalhu.
On Tuesday's installment of "The President's Answer" series, an initiative by the President's Office to directly address public queries, the president was asked if there was any opportunity for those who were allocated land from Giraavarufalhu to switch to plots in Gulheefalhu or Hulhumale.
Acknowledging this as a common concern, President Dr.Muizzu explained that while there is flexibility for plot transfers, no specific policy has been established thus far. Once the land use plans for Gulheefalhu and Giraavarufalhu are finalised, the policies can be determined, he said.
