The Election Commission (EC) has opened the opportunity to submit complaints to the voters' list for the upcoming parliamentary election.
Initially scheduled for March 17, the parliamentary elections have been rescheduled to April 21 to avoid coinciding with the holy month of Ramadan.
The opportunity to submit complaints is open from today until 3:00 pm on Thursday. Complaints can be lodged at council offices across residential islands, neighborhood offices in Addu City, as well as the city councils in Kulhudhuffushi City and Fuvahmulah City. The Election Center established at Dharubaaruge in Male' City will also accept complaints.
Meanwhile, re-registration for the elections will open on the 14th of this month.
