The President's Office has declared that the official Government working hours for the first seven days of Shawwal will remain from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., as previously announced.
The President's Office made this declaration in the year 1443 Hijra, in the fourth directive issued on March 6, 2022.
The Holy month of Ramadan ended on April 9, with Eid being celebrated on the 1st of Shawwal, April 10. Muslims typically fast six voluntary fasts from Shawwal 2 to 7. Normal working hours would resume on April 17.
