Maldives Immigration has intercepted four foreigners attempting to enter the country using passports with fake stamps.
According to Immigration, the individuals were stopped at Velana International Airport (VIA) on July 3rd. While the specific nationalities of the offenders were not disclosed, Immigration has released passport-sized photographs of the individuals involved.
This incident coincides with an operation currently underway by the Immigration in Male’ City aimed at identifying illegal immigrants.
