The Station Manager of F. Biledhdhoo FENAKA power station, Ahsan Hussain has been suspended without pay.
In a letter sent to Ahsan on July 4, the FENAKA Corporation informed him that a case related to him was being investigated. The letter said that Ahsan had therefore been placed under temporary suspension without pay for a period of 14 days, effective July 4, until the investigation is completed.
Some news outlets have reported that Ahsan was suspended for not supporting the ruling-PNC’s candidate for the post of Biledhdhoo council president.
