President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has called on the public to work together to make the streets a safe place for everyone.
President Dr. Muizzu made the appeal in a post on X, sharing an animated video on road safety produced by Yamin Rasheed's Cellmin Animation Studio.
Addressing the issue of dangerous road accidents, the President urged to practice caution and said careless mistakes may leave no second chances.
"Life is precious, drive safely!," the president said in the post.
The President’s message comes as road accidents have increased in the city in recent weeks. This month alone, two fatal collisions involving cars and motorcycles have occurred in Hulhumale’.
