President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has announced that every household will receive a case of canned tuna for the upcoming Holy Month of Ramadan.
Speaking at a ceremony held to mark the administration's one-year anniversary, President Dr. Muizzu said preparations are already underway in collaboration with the State Trading Organization (STO) to facilitate the distribution.
Last Ramadan, the government distributed flour and rice to every household and also provided discounts on water and electricity bills during Ramadan. However, at Sunday's event, the president did not specify if similar benefits would be extended this year.
